@trashcansinatra; after so long at the helm of the Victorian Labor Party and the Victorian Government, Daniel Andrews well and truly earned the right to his Pension.
Relative to the obscene 'golden handshakes' and 'performance bonuses' corporate executives grant each other for doing little more than logging on to talk to each other five times a year it's a pittance for having performed a role thousands of times more important than that of any corporate executive.
That aside, there's no doubt that Andrews broke his 2022 Election promise to see out his next term in office and that we may never know the real reasons he did so.
