Victoria is in worse shape than in the Cain/Kirner years.
The real issue is that when all the small community organisations realise their funding has either been cut opr cancelled then the shite is going to hit the fan sometime soon after 1st July. Then there will be hundreds of volunteer organisations with voluntary dorector boards who will just wind up their charities and community services otherwise they could be charged with insolvent trading.
This is a very bad state of affairs and Victorians have sleep walked into this community catastrophe.
As an aside my family and friends have had a great deal of exposure to Victoria's emergency, hospitals and heatlth systems over the last 10 months. I was unaware just how bad it is with chronic under investment by Andrews over the last 8 years.
I know two young registrars who have done stints in several different country hospitals which struggle to provide basic services and one which I won't name where the young registrar said avoid at all costs.
It is not the staff but the old facilities that Andrews refuses to properly fund.
