    So - you are obviously trying to divide the population by geographic lines, as opposed to the previous attempt to divide by socio-economic levels.

    The more useful way I think is by dividing by education level. The higher educated a person, the less likely they are to be influenced by extreme religon.
    The more educated they are, the likely they are to understand that women have rights, racisim is bad and that corporate profit is not the reason we were put on the planet for.


    So, the lower educated rural workers vote Conservative, because it suits their religious views.
    The higher educated inner city women vote Teal.

    The days of the Conservatives are numbered, as educated people outnumber the uneducated ones.

    The education levels when overlayed on a geographic map do tend to mirror the voting preferences... it is a trend we are powerless to stop.
