It is just that I live in Vic and as such I have skin in the game.
We are struggling as a State on so many fronts. Our hospitals are full. Our ambulance system is underfunded. Our nurses are over worked. Or country roads are stuffed. Our state debt is now $167 Billion and growing. 8 years ago we only had $20 Billion of debt. 40% of State Taxes now goes to paying the ever-growing State Public Service. Each of us, now owes $30,000.00 in State Government debt. 8 years ago we had $20billion in debt. The incumbents are committed to spending another $135 Billion on an underground rail system. 30 years ago we were in a similar financial position thanks to Cain and Kirner. Our unemployment rate went to 12%. Businesses went broke. People lost jobs and houses. Our electricity prices are expected to increase over 50% in the next 12 months. I could go on, at the risk of offending you further.
Now you may understand why we need a change of Premier and Government.
