To be fair OC, I'm just trying to tease out the facts here.
I fully support this lockdown. Go hard, go early has proven to work. However, we need to find out why this happened and what we can do to prevent further outbreaks.
We know people shouldn't have had nebulisers in their rooms. Arguably if they had underlying health conditions that required a nebuliser they should have been in a different facility.
It seems now the government is going to x-ray luggage to check. That's a good move.
Before we throw the government under the bus I'd just like to know whether other states were doing this previously.
Once again it gets back to my point that no state or territory in Australia , or Australia federally had a pandemic place in the first place.
We continue to play catch up.
Yes, Covid is evolving and there are the Rumsfeld " unknown unknowns " that we have to deal with as we discover them.
However, there are a whole bunch of bog standards hygiene practices that have not been met right across the country because there was no national strategy !!!!!
