    Any breach of public health order, or protesting, or other non compliance offence does not justify some of the body slams, knees, strikes, oc spray used in some of those videos.
    the tactics used and numbers of police are clearly to overwhelm the protestors and stop any further breaches, and that’s ok, but body slamming a person from behind is not a tactic. Pushing a woman over, than spraying her with OC an walking away is not a tactic. Excessive use of force is excessive whether at a protest in the CBD or arresting a DV offender on a Wednesday in the suburbs.
    I do not support that, and if it ever occurred where i worked, I would not hesitate to make the internal complaint to have the unjustified excessive force investigated myself.
    Its assault pure and simple and it pisses me off also.
