We have more gas than Qatar, but they don’t have any iron, copper or gold like we do. We could all be living like Arabs with better beaches if we had had a government that could cook an egg for the last few decades. But we have a revolving door of the inept and the feckless at federal level and cowboys and injuns kin up the states. If it wasn’t for the women and the booze and the blue skies and the golden sand, wouldn’t be much going for this place.
