Cruiser, Twiggy is correct . The cost of pipelines or any other oil and gas infrastructure is up to 250% more in Australia than in Europe and particularly in America. The cost of our labour coupled with relatively low productivity and regular union disputes, not to mention the enormous red and green tape that Australian companies have to put up with, all contribute to massive costs and time delays.
Hopefully Twiggy can put some pressure on WA's socialist govt that is carrying out the 16th enquiry on fracking, hoping to find something that the previous 15 studies couldn't. Truly the definition of stupidity,....doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. No matter though , they got the Greens to support them with their preferences.
