Of COURSE it's going to cause strife as you have basically the whole world on one side wanting to change a very old institution on the other. To me the answer is simple, the lgbt mob should stop trying to force their views on everyone else and leave any organisation where they do not feel comfortable. They are FREE to form their own associations and the the Church wont bother them about it at all.
