Leader Of Church That Harbours Thousands Of Rock Spiders Worried Gay Marriage Is A Bad Look

The Anglican Archbishop Glenn Davies has today explained that it’s time for his Church to take a stand.
Not by doing its bit to try and rectify all of the harm caused by the harbouring of pedophiles in their Church who ruined the lives of countless people, but by taking on the ‘single biggest societal eroding issue that is same-sex marriage.’
The leader of a church that featured heavily and horrifyingly in the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, explained that there are ‘bigger fish to fry’ than trying to make amends for the appaling acts perpetrated and covered up by figures within their church.
Speaking yesterday Davies said that his church needs to ‘take action’ on marriage equality.
“Please leave us. We have far too much work to do in evangelising Australia to be distracted by the constant pressure to change our doctrine in order to satisfy the lusts and pleasures of the world,” he said in a speech.
Speaking in more detail to The Advocate today, Davies explained that he can’t quite understand what the issue is.
“Institutional abuse of children is nowhere near as appalling as two fully grown adults having the ability to enter into a relationship with who they chose,” said the angry Davies.
“Allowing same-sex marriage is a really bad look for our Church,” said the Archbishop of a church infamous for its history of harbouring rock spiders.
“Don’t get me started on abortion okay.”
“If we don’t act now, we may end up living in a world someday where the church don’t have any control over how people live their lives, and I think we can all agree, that’s scary.”
