Now that Zijin has refinanced Genorah and $7m of the $20m is to be released in October (hopefully no delays on the October 23rd deadline) seems that the last hurdle is notarisation of the mining right and Anglo/ARM resolution.
Rumour in Perth is that Anglo/ARM and notarisation will be done in one go. Whether this happens is to be seen.
I can see that Zijin looks more likely to take out NKP than do a Joint Venture. They have now secured the NKP shares from Genorah. This is about 55% of NKP which is already control.
If they do launch a bid for NKP then I am hoping its 35c+. I know others talk of 50c as a minimum but I would rather look at 35c as a more realistic offer. The Chinese may start at 25c though knowing how they like to "bargain".
Announcement today ws good news but I am keeping an eye out for the notarisation and Anglo/ARM resolution.
Good Luck to all shareholders and option holders
