From the earlier company updates, it always sounded like Anglo was 'on board'. The ARM guys were the stumbling block...
As Maredi says these issues are part & parcel of the industry....
Each of us must take a decision as to whether political and practical expediency will prevail.
The DMR would not have awarded the Mining Right lightly and no doubt countless legal opinions have been sought.
My opinion - ARM are just rolling the dice/stalling for a few more dollars - which they'll get.
ARM might be run/owned by a super rich guy - but even he isn't going to fight (let alone win) the full might of the SA Government and Anglo (and potentially X too assuming they're still keen - where is the reference to Garatau in their development pipeline??)
Then the issues disappear forever.....
