I think my first time post on NKP, anyway, after all the endless drivel and the occasional insightful post, it seems to be coming clear, at least to me.
If I were either Anglo or ARM, or Xstrata, I would not want a JV with NKP. Other than the good fortune of holding the land NKP add zero value.
I think its entirely sensible that NKP be effed off to the sidelines and get a royalty stream, given a copy of all the detailed annual finances on what is going on, and be kept a million miles away from the mine or any decision making.
Not a bad outcome, or at least, not the worst.
