I spoke to the Company re Coco-1.

The news appears to better than that gleaned from
the announcement. First, they struck two intervals
containing oil when they were only expecting one. They
would provide no info on possible size - they
were going back to their seismic sections.

Second, testing of the well will have to await the
arrival of comprehensive testing equipment including,
maybe, some tanks to contain oil if they do testing
for flow rates. Angola is so far of the beaten track
that their modus operandi appears to be to wait until
they have something to test rather than bring in all
of the testing equipment and have it lying around and
perhaps, not being used.

In the meantime they are going off to drill other
wells because it just costs to much to have a drilling
rig lying around and not being used.

One wonders why they didn't put this info in their
announcement. It would have saved me and probably others
from bothering them.
