    One thing I ask the people ( in the real world, not hc ) that arguably belong to the angry old white guys club is what were they like when they were young. These people typically grew up in the late 50s through to the early seventies. So , baby boomers.

    Mostly they reminisce on how they argued with their parents who very critical of them having long hair, listening to rock music and having sexual relationships outside of wedlock. All things that are very normal today.
    They complained that their parents were out of touch and that as young people, they were enjoying the new freedoms thrust upon them.

    I suspect that each generation has these experiences.

    I see an awful lot of similarities to those that criticise the young or people with different views on hc.

    Important point: Before my fan club of haters starts reaching for the tissues, that's not to say that people can't benefit from older people's life experience. They can for sure. There's nothing like experience in my opinion. It's gold.

    But, there is a fine line between experience and fear and jealousy.
