If a government is unable to accurately forecast economic conditions in order to make considered fiscal policy decisions then they’re incompetent.
This isn’t the case of a gambler stumbling over a jackpot and being happy with it. If the government isn’t able to accurately forecast economic conditions then they are risking the prosperity of the country and people’s wellbeing
