    My sincerest apologies @Free will and @firehawk08 you were right.  It wasn't Dr Wakefield it was his collegue and co-writer of the autism paper Dr Walker-Smith who was exonerated.   IMO possible reason for exoneration victory for one and not the other ....  "Dr. Walker-Smith’s professional insurance coverage paid for his appeal; Dr. Wakefield’s insurance carrier would not."

    I don't think this will be the last we hear of this case.
