    I'll give you my answer even though the question was not addressed to me.

    I got boosters for all the childhood disease vaccines five to ten years ago. Thinking of another batch of boosters in a few years time and that should cover me for the rest of my working life.

    As it turns out, the only time I was really sick in my life was when I fell sick from measles when I was nine and my parents brought me on a holiday to the Phillippines. Many days in hospital in a strange land.

    Why did I catch measles? Because I was not vaccinated against measles.

    Why was I not vaccinated? Because my father wrongly believed I had already had had measles as a baby.

    I have never got infected with any of the diseases I was actually vaccinated against.


    If you believe not vaccinating yourself or your children is ok, please never take a trip overseas and please hope someone with measles does not somehow come close to you while they are infectious. Ditto with diphtheria, polio, whooping cough and so on.
