Anichess - Animoca and Hashcode Studios

If it hasn't dawned on anyone yet, Anichess is going to be MASSIVE. Like Monopoly GO! level massive, maybe even bigger.

Chess has multi-generational, intercontinental interest - and it seems that Anichess has already garnered a huge amount of intrigue. Some key things to note here:

• Up until this week, we have seen Hashcode Studios praising the launch, however not too many media releases were mentioning Icandy and Hashcode Studios. • There has been some sentiments shared among these threads that Icandy is just another one of Animoca Brands many investments - nothing special about it. I think this is now a clear example of a partnership between AB1 and ICI, and Icandy is a more strategic investment than merely diversifying their portfolio.
• Hashcode Studios is not likely to offer the same WFH commercial model that LSS uses to engage the market. In my opinion, LSS is subject to a status quo where their clients expect a competitive cost and service. On the contrary, Hashcode Studios in their early days made mention to their commercial model being Saas (software as a service) which is famous for scalability and cost-efficiency. If this is the case we could be at the foot of the mountain of ICI's most lucrative venture to date.
• Anichess already has 36,000 twitter followers. Their recent post claims in the first 2 weeks they have seen:
• 3.7M+ puzzles solved
• 200K+ hours of game time
• 190K+ registered players
• The above is all off a soft-release with limited features and functionality. Needless to say, a game as well-known and loved as chess with an exciting twist can result in registered player numbers in the hundreds of millions.

Finally, scouring through X - Twitter, it's clear that Anichess is benefitting from a huge amount of organic and word-of-mouth interest and excitement. A quick search will demonstrate just how many people are talking about the game positively.

What this all means for ICI, who knows for now - as ever we're kept in the dark by management. HOWEVER, I believe the door is ajar for this project to be an enormous revenue generator with sustainable growth over long periods. Watching with much anticipation.
