I think it is more obvious as time goes on, that building the business, with the protection of it being a private company, is easier/works better than building a business in a public listed company environment (potential takeovers, pressures of share price sentiment issues, temporary listing on an el cheepo exchange etc).
Listing in a solid and appropriate exchange from a position of strength later on, seems to make a lot of sense.
Any possible sacrifices in share value in the interim will no doubt be more than compensated for when shareholders value the company upon listing in the future.
Seems the latest batch of high profile investor/shareholders share this view.
