Anaconda Nickel Limited is pleased to announce that the Murrin Murrin
Joint Venture achieved record quarterly production of 7,479 tonnes of
nickel and 379 tonnes of cobalt for the period ended 31 March 2002,
which just exceeds the record previously set in the corresponding
third quarter last year. Murrin Murrin operations were cash flow
positive in the March quarter for the first time ever.
