I agree that Glencore wants Anaconda to survive becasue together they have sunk AUD2 bio PLUS in Murrin Murrin.
MatlinPatterson's bid may or may not be opportunistic and it may have been or may not have been orchastrated by non-Glencore friends for whatever reasons they may have or have not.
Murrin Murrin may not be worth as much to anyone else as it is worth to Glencore.
