I totally agree about ANMCA being oversold etc but don't fully understand why you are stating to short sell ANM.
ANMCA with the call paid does not become ANM. They will be a different code because of their dividend entitlement. So you would still have to buy back ANM at some stage unless you were going to try to remain short for a long time.
