Whilst this is "small fry" in terms of numbers, think it is a bigger deal. As Laser Welding Solutions (LWS) had only just leased another 2x Archemy units and have now converted the first lease to a purchase. Hopefully the other two leases also get converted over time to purchases in the future. Assume LWS will want to be certain they can contuse to win future contracts off this technology.
When the leasing agreement was first in place, was always going to be interesting to see if the "try before you buy" was successful.
Would not be surprised if the lease with options to purchase becomes a low risk route in for companies understand the technology, prior to committing their capital budgets on permanent installations.
