VW are just part of the local pie. Ultium Cells, a JV of GM & LG are building 4 battery plants with two being just across the border in Michigan & Ohio. Ford are building in Michigan too. Sayona are well placed to supply a number of large factories as they ramp up production and build processing facilities.
I don't think it will be an overnight boom to the share price, but with each step like today, its heading in the right direction.
