With the trial results I think we can all agree that it would be truly wonderful to see a long lasting immunological benefit from these trials. The previous trial was a bit of a dogs breakfast IMO. Way too short. Way too small.

Like you say these trials are also way too small but at least they are longer in duration so as to provide some chance of seeing longevity in any effect. It will be interesting. The devil is in the detail in small trials. Have a look at the baseline numbers from the BIT225-009 trial for a glimpse of the sort of thing that goes wrong with recruitment in small trials.
