What a tactically outstanding month of managed releases. Started 3rd March at 40c lows after long sell down with a pretty meaningless MOU Offtake agreement well before acceptances. big volume jump on the day though, looks like a few were aware this was going to be a big month and caught the train early. Six announcements, regularly one per week, including some that couldn;t be stage managed (presentation to UK Parliament committee). The finale after few days TH to get the juices flowing while letting it run on the illiquid LSE... (600k volume frontrunning the news Apr 1st though so not chump change)
After trading up 2 days LSE (1stand 4th) it was let free today for a more realistic 6M shares traded on the ASX. What trader notice the March bounce technical support and news flow rise didn;t attract, the Th and subsequent huge jump on ASX will be pinging on every traders breakout radar. All done on very little pre-MRE volume... take about getting bang for your announcement buck. Hat tip to management and no doubt London brokers behind the plan, this is how you do it.
I was scratching my head for a long time over the nothing burger LSE listing, 1M Cr and no interest. This is what I expected, the poms really know how to run a story and stock, especially fashionable thematic (think what they did with Pensana once they dual listed... forget what the price did once the pump was over).
Well done all holders. Not that the MRE increase was unexpected, triple the resource area and triple the tonnes for a regional scale stratigraphic play as per the Drilling Update 15 Mar. I'm not about trading SVM generally, but I have to admit I'm astounded and impressed at what traction they got out of the obvious. Wonder who was waiting to buy the fact instead of buying the rumour, hopefully the new found interest keeps up and today's 77c close wasn't a double top. If these geezers are as good as they look right now, expect a concerted effort to break the price out and give it clean air to run...
Good luck
