Of course we don't know who/why some sold shares today, but my view is that many were probably holders that want to participate but wanted to eke out some of the cash through the share sales. Up to them.
I suggest that regardless of the options being unquoted the Black Scholes valuation of the "package" (share plus 0.5 option) is actually worth more than 95 cents.
Certainly in my situation I will take up my entire allocation even if the share price falls another 10 cents!
