What your saying is right because we don't know the direction of the new mineralized zone. Showing misses or closed of sections may tell us. However, given they have mentioned it in an excited way it's likely not closed off.
Your 3D spatial awareness is top-notch. Were you a geo or surveyor. Mine is not great (for a guy). My driving is Ok though.
