JP Morgan and others have manipulated the sh*t out of silver (read Chris Marcus' The big silver short or visit his website arcadia economics)... I mean what other metal is half the price compared to a half a century ago?
Oh, btw re the above green policy/production posts, silver is the most conductive metal in the world!
