Well Mr Market is sure finding a very strange way of welcoming this news. As you say the company is funded for at least the next X months. We know that HC posters are not selling, at least in the volumes traded.
So who and why would there be higher volumes of shares being traded as below the new issue price?
You'd think the broker would have the decency to support the SP for at least a few days after punting $10m to their clients. It is close to $1m being lost already on the new money. Must be some pretty upset clients out there.
