Datafast reaches 10, 000 ADSL

Datafast Telecommunications Ltd (ASX Code: DFT) today announced that it had achieved 10,000 active
ADSL accounts.

EO Simon Ehrenfeld said that this represented 10% of the active account base.
“Broadband had an initial surge with early adopters and then the uptake slowed. The new pricing regime has
accelerated uptake again,” he said.
“While difficult to quantify future patterns, we expect ADSL Broadband to constitute at least 50% of
internet access accounts some time within the next three years. This is in addition to other forms of
Broadband we offer such as Satellite services, Wireless connectivity and other DSL solutions.”
