Bit of reverse hype here as there's ways (and will be more) to separate let's just say crushed Iron (magnetic) from Graphite (not magnetic).
Froth flotation is the common method, but just need proper wastewater treatmentto ensure no environmental damage. So what's worse in the eyes of a Greeny - digging a hole and f$@$8!&g the land, or using technology to boss this s#&t.
