Thats a nice little intercept from surface, got to remember the depth and the cost of underground mining and its effect on the unit cost of mining. Every time I see these images I think what a shame they pulled all that ore out of the ground for not much profit, imagine if the entire orebody was still there un-depleted.




Would have been nice to know if there was any existing drilling between the upper defined Spitfire stope areas and the recent intersection, if its undrilled then there is potential for a small vertical orebody going all the way down, or alternatively it could just be isolated pods. This orebody is very vertical but at least there does seem to be some vertical continuity from the planned stopes in that image.
