Only an arbitrage for the level of dividend equivalent
let’s say I have 4 m shares
I would be entitled to 80k in dividends
let’s say I sell 400k shares at 20c and I could get those shares back ( or close to at 17.3) . That is close to a 10k benefit
ofcourse the more shares the more enticing - not really worth the excercise if one holds 40k in shares
