Way back on the 5th september 2010 in post 6044121 I suggested that the CSIRO had some good patented technology when it came to analysing core samples for oil porosity and interpretations of fluorescent colours etc (had been reading their internal awards LOL)

    You responded:
"Weatherford know their stuff, I always have good results from that lab in Brisbane. They'll do a series of poro-perm tests on the core, every metre or so.

Hopefully there will be some coarser sands in the basal Stairway like JW-1 had."

You said again today in post 6278286 in essence that you trust the Weatherford Lab (hope that the paraphrase is ok)

Please do not take this the wrong way, it is not about your faith in the results or your integrity, however, I would like to know whether in your experience if it would normally have taken this lab from early December 2010 to February to receive and analyse one core (assuming CTP sent it in December)

Perhaps an easier question is how long a lab such as Weatherford might take to analyse one core sample, speaking generally

    thanks, billdah
