I think this is a pretty smart strategic play.
If CTP does have several parties interested - and that's the basis of any smart negotiation for capital injection, exit strategy etc - then this suggestion is adding fuel to the fire. If I was an Australian Major, Indian, Chinese, whoever at the table, I would be concerned that the Canadians are putting themselves in a better strategic position to enter, and the potential TSX listing just reinforces it. It may force the hand of the other parties to ramp up any offers on the table. That is the basis of good negotiation. The recent PR in mining mags is also putting the good oil (with apologies to goodoil)out there. Forcing people's hand for the best outcome. I smell a good negotiator at play. Maybe Mr White and co.
