I think he has to be in discussions with a JV partner, it is the only reason I can think of that would have led to the last two ANNs and the unexpected add-ons. Simply dressing up the poor end to the campaign doesn't resonate with me.
As posted above, I'd take a JV now as it is going to cost millions of dollars to find the high grade areas (if they exist at all) at Myall.
