Perhaps the troll was a bridge engineer who simply wanted to warn the three Billy Goats Gruff that the bridge was not rated for their trip, trap, trip, trap etc?
I love reading to the grandkids. I do not watch Money of Mine when the little ones are around because I would need to explain to them some of the unusual words and phrases that Uncle Matt uses.
