Although the share price has dropped and sentiment of holders has wavered, Dan is still upbeat in this interview. Worth listening to.

I do believe the HMX management want to turn Mt Isa into a producer. That's a good thing for shareholders IMO. HMX has a JORC resource already of 400kt, that they are increasing. The numbers in the JORC were done in 2016, before inflation made the metal price skyrocket. It will be interesting to see how much it would grow if they had a lower % cut off? Sumitomo will want to continue to earn their 60% interest in the JV area, so far at Trafalgar 16 holes have been drilled, intersecting copper and gold in all. It's like the market has forgotten what HMX has.

Reading "The Australian" this morning the Albanese government must boost renewable energy to 82% of supply by 2030 (promised in their election campaign) and spend billions on infrastructure and new technologies. The copper has to come from somewhere for all of the infrastructure and electric vehicles. It could be a spendathon by this new climate sensitive government to boost by 82%, there has to be industries that will benefit from this. HMX might be in the right place at the right time. Copper is the key!
