More likely is that OBM is desperate for cash plus had no vision for anything outside gold.
A total failure by OBM management.
Mt Ida was also the highest grade gold mine in the OBM portfolio. Its about the only gold mine that ever made a profit when it was operated by Monarch Gold and Swan gold.
Now sold for peanuts and also gave away the lithium potential.
Definitely a smart crew at OBM headquarters.
