If I was a cynic I would suggest that the reason the dividend money got out and the loan repayment money didnt is that 60% of the dividend went to our friends in Angola whereas none of the loan repayment was headed their way. And the suggestion that the loan repayment was scrubbed was that the money was needed for Lulu kimberlite development is nonsense . That money was earmarked for reducing expensive debt on LOMs balance sheet, which is what I understand happened,,hence the need to cobble together a CR pronto when the $14 million went missing in action. I reiterate my point that until the money corridor in and out of Angola is sorted out once and for all, any spare capital LOM has should be going towards Merlin, where we control our own destiny.
