Just a fact check…
SBI does not have a market cap of 5.4T USD. You will find thats 5.4T INR about 65B USD or 95B AUD. So Approx half the market cap of the CBA.
At 5.4T it would be the most valuable listed company in the world by over 3T (USD). It
would also mean it’s value is 2T (USD) greater than India’s annual GDP.
Bank of China at about 1 trillion CNY or 140B USD (~206B) has a market cap around 20B more than the CBA.
BOB at around 870B INR (16B AUD) is about 2B more than Suncorp or 11-12x smaller than the CBA.
PNB at around 600B (11B AUD) so about double and a bit the size of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank or just under 17x the CBA.
