I of course would like this pressie to be the last word, but I'm inclined to agree here. It's the same with people pointing at the article on Zijin's webpage like it offers some irrefutable truth. In both cases the sources are highly partial and both believe they are right and really want to be right. What we need to be looking at are the facts distinct from affirmations from either side if it's possible.

This is pretty much the case with every legal wrangle, both sides interpret the same events differently and need arbitration to solve the issue.

By my reading it would take some degree of corruption and/or fraud to get the 15% into the hands of Zijin for such a small amount and this late stage (2021). It is hard to get to the facts with so much clouding the issue, including lack of comms from AVZ management.

But a: my reading of the matter doesn't matter one iota

and b: corruption and/or fraud could absolutely be a fact in this case
