    The problem has been and continues to be that the market doesn't really believe Epanko will happen. If you were of the mindset that it isn't happen then it doesn't really matter how big the resource is.

    If the market starts to think, well perhaps this might happen that is when all the gains will accrue from this announcement and prices well above the current price start to look sensible. The size of the resource is now without question large and becomes even larger if you factor in material below the 5.5% cut-off used. If there is a future world with strong graphite demand, grades below 5.5% may become economic. There's also the remaining 2km of undrilled strike.

    EGR suggest expansion plans to 300ktpa of contained graphite in the announcement. Something of that scale is huge. Looking at SYR's last quarterly they list production for 4 quarters and the best was 41ktpa. The table below shows the US Geological survey estimate of current production of natural Graphite in 2022 and 2023. Anything past 100ktpa would put Tanzania as one of the big producers outside of China.
