flammo, mate, from this date forward you run the risk of being labelled a 'bot trader'. Please pardon my mirth but maybe it is a cheap lesson on how to time an entry. May I suggest a better way to handle this predicament in future is rather than cancel the order, simply amend to a lower price. This would give you time to move back into the trade at a later time/date, execute/finalize at same or different price and preserve the brokerage already paid. I understand that you would not have known you would be executed for 1 share, but when operating so close to the settling price this is a good retreating strategy.
Finally, I am just amazed at how quickly this company is advancing this complex, leading edge technology. One day, an overnight announcement will see the share price sky rocket. Today's announcement is (to me) just mind boggling in its implications and leap frog's us into the future of quantum., and yes I am accumulating, accumulating. A single share could be worth a fortune one day.
