"hitting the big green reset button on the whole enterprise" So, selling a revenue generating part of your business deemed as "foundational" in the prior quarterly (not that these were profitable ventures anyway) is hitting a big green reset? HHI is after this sale ~85% of the revenue generation and afaik is still unprofitable.
They've been touting their ability to conduct M&A as a growth initiative for the business but now selling those assets just to clear huge debt and liekly run into another CR, while further diluting the snot out of shareholders allocating new capital to lenders?
This is utter trash and proof of incapability to conduct everything they claim they are able to do:
- M&A = failure
- Drive to profitability = failure
- Divestment of low performing ventures = failure (divesting a self-proclaimed foundational component to the company)
Now you have a company that has continued to fail with a smaller revenue base and asset base than before while still unprofitable.
What a joke.
