Very true regarding customer confidentiality, military and security agencies don't want villains knowing what gear they have in their kit.
In all likelihood the customer was the U.S. Secret Service. Ever since Trump got his ear nicked by a nutter that agency has been desperate to show it is capable of fulfilling its role. Waving Drone Guns around at campaign rallies projects a macho image.
