    Some of the unpopular decisions they made were around buying out and gobble other listed companies (Templeton by WGB and PAF by WAM as an example). Especially, PAF buyout raised questions as PAF’s investment strategy mandates a concentrated portfolio of growth opportunities in ASIA, which I am unsure how it complements WAM. Maybe it was a tactical buy to boost franking credits, cash position? Personally, I see investment rationale into WAM as a combination of capital growth (share price becomes important) and steady dividends (this is what differentiates LIC with passive investing). Let’s see how it goes in coming quarters. Just my opinion
