Maybe it's just a tough 5 year period they are having and WAM shares are a buy now still at a very large premium to NTA with shrinking profits reserves and franking, good luck those brave enough to buy!
I remember performance of WAM being a lot stronger about a decade ago. Geoff wasn't launching a new product each year or political campaigning on franking, Chris Stott, Martin Hickson, Mark Tobin might have been in the team, maybe not long before that Matthew Kidman.
Their AUMs a lot smaller as a part of the market back then.
What do they say, past performance not indicative of future performance yada yada..
